Samsa produced Beryl Koltz movie scoops two main prizes

Hot Hot Hot has been awarded two top prizes at the Tirana Internatonal Film Festival (TIFF)

Winning the accolade of Best Feature at TIFF, Koltz’s acclaimed, if slghtly surreal, movie has charmed the judging panel.

Lead actor Rob Stanley has also taken home a gong, being recognised as the Best Actor for his role as Ferdinand.

These are the first award bestowed on the intriguing debut feature film from Koltz and, as the award season prepares for 2012, there may yet be a few more to come the way of Hot Hot Hot.

Koltz told 352LuxMag: “It’s great news. An award is something that stays on a film’s cv forever. I hope it will bring us good luck for future festivals. As for my next film, we shall see ;)”
