Writing Masterclass / Workshop this Wednesday September 23rd at Cinematheque!

The 6th annual British & Irish Film Season (www.bifilmseason.lu), with the support of Film Fund Luxembourg, is organising a Writing Masterclass / Workshop for Wednesday 23 September at 18:00 at the Cinémathèque.

Following an introduction, attendees will hear from three panellists representing 3/4 different film genres: crime thriller, comedy and animation. They will address theoretical aspects, including approaches to writing, inspiration and creativity, as well as practical issues, including presenting case studies and current projects, including presenting clips.

Presenters:
– Animation: Sean McCormack (Ooops Noah is Gone)
– Crime Thriller: Daniel Pembrey (author of The Candidate and to be made into a film, set in Luxembourg)
– Rom Com: Graham Cantwell (The Callback Queen, Poison Pen)

The event is being held in English. The round-table format will be followed by a Q&A session and a networking reception.

The event is open to those working in the film production industry in Luxembourg as well as members of the public attending the BIFS 20:30 screening (Pursuit).
