From April 10th to 18th 2010, on the occasion of Caramba Cinemas 10th anniversary, some remarkable recent productions from the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland can be seen.

The United Kingdom has had a large impact on modern cinema and has originated one of the most respected film industries in the world. Despite a history of successful productions, the industry is characterised by an ongoing debate about its identity and the influences of American and European cinema.

Irish films are more popular than ever. Ireland is now achieving critical mass of filmmaking talent to match the kind of influence, disproportionate to its small size that it has always enjoyed in the fields of literature and theatre

The festival has gained the Official Patronage of the British and Irish Embassies in Luxembourg.

The 3 cinemas in Esch/Alzette, CineBelval, CineAriston and CineKinosch will be hosting this new major film festival in Luxembourg! It’s up to you to decide whether you prefer the modern digital high-tech atmosphere or rather the cosy cinema around the corner.
