Début de Tournage pour Isabelle

C’est ce mercredi 9 juin que le tournage du nouveau long-métrage de Ben Sombogaart débute.

Ce premier décor est installé à Amsterdam tandis que le reste du tournage aura lieu à Luxembourg (26 jours) et dans les Ardennes belges (4 jours) entre le 13 juin et le 14 août.

Pour rappel, Ben Sombogaart, devenu familier avec le Luxembourg de par ses précédents films tournés au Grand-Duché, est le réalisateur de “BRIDE FLIGHT” (Film Prize de la Meilleure Coproduction au Luxembourg Film Prize 2009) ainsi que de “TWIN SISTERS” (nommination aux Oscars 2003, catégorie “Meilleur Film Etranger”).

A nouveau, la coproduction réunit SAMSA FILM et ID TV FILM et Ben Sombogaart a manifesté son enthousiasme à collaborer avec la même équipe de techniciens luxembourgeois : Jeannot Sanavia (musique), Bénédicte Hermesse (direction de production), Jean-François Roqueplo (machinerie), Joe Kotroczo (Régie),…. mais aussi d’autres comme Peggy Wurth (costumes), François Dickes (ensemblier), Wolfgang Wesenman (assistant-caméra),…Isabelle, an exceptionally beautiful actress, is abducted by Jeanne, a very ugly artist. The two women enter into a prolonged psychological battle, in which trust and deceit go hand in hand.

BEN SOMBOGAART, born 8-8’47 in Amsterdam. Graduate of the Netherlands Film and Television Academy ’73. Working as a free-lance director, Sombogaart has made many documentary films both in Holland and abroad. Since ’81 he originated and directed a various amount of TV-series and feature films. His films received many awards. ‘My father lives in Rio’ and‘The boy who stopped talking’ were both rewarded with a first prize at the BerlinKinderfilmfest. The feature film ‘Twin Sisters’ was nominated for anOscar and the feature film and TV series ‘The Penknife’ received an Emmy Award. Member of theDutch Directors Guild.
