New Film Distribution Company Established in Luxembourg

Tarantula Luxembourg, the film production company, has announced the creation of a new company, Tarantula Distribution.

The new company is managed by Donato Rotunno with Emilie Lacourt and will undertake the promotion and distribution of films produced and co-produced by Tarantual Luxembourg across the Grand Duchy.

The new company’s operations are starting with the release of the film “Carré Blanc” by Jean-Baptiste Leonetti which will hit the cinemas on 9 September, and which will be followed by “Elle ne pleure pas, elle chante” directed by Philippe de Pierpont, on 23 September at Ciné Utopia in Limpertsberg and Ciné Ariston is Esch-sur-Alzette.

“Carré Blanc” stars Jean-Baptiste Leonetti with Julie Gayet and Sami Bouajila, and has been selected for the Festival du film Fantastique de Sitges.

“Elle ne pleure pas, elle chante” stars Jules Werner and Erika Sainte and has been chosen to be first screened at the Montreal World Film Festival which is starting this Thursday 18 August, as well as at the International Francophone Film Festival of Namur and the International Film Festival Mannheim-Heideberg.
