The animated film is a co-production involving Belgium, Poland, Germany, Israel and Luxembourg. The script is based on the book by Stanislaw Lem and includes the voices of many actors including Robin Wright, Paul Giamatti and Harvey Keitel. It is about an aging, out-of-work actress who accepts one last job, though the consequences of her decision affect her in ways she didn’t consider…

In addition, Tip Top, a Luxembourg-France co-production, will also be screened at Cannes 2013. Directed by Serge Bozon and co-produced by Iris Productions (Nicolas Steil), it features Isabelle Huppert (Amour, The Piano Teacher), Sandrine Kiberlain, François Damiens, Karole Rocher, Aymen Saïdi, Saïda Bekkouche and Samy Nacéri (Taxi 1-4). It follows two police inspectors who land in a provincial region to investigate the death of an Algerian informer.

The 2013 Cannes Film Festival is being organised between 15 and 25 May.
