An actor from fantasy TV series Game of Thrones is to pay a visit to Luxembourg for Science Fiction and Fantasy Convention LuxCon 2015.
The two-day extravaganza will roll out the red carpet for Miltos Yerolemou, who played Syrio Forel in Game of Thrones and will feature in JJ Abrams’ Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens.
A Greek-Cypriot actor, Miltos is based in London. The media guest will be joined by a handful of literary guests. Among them are Aliette de Bodard, from the US, who has won two Nebula Awards, a Locus Award, a BSFA Award, as well as Writers of the Future, and British fantasy author Adrian Tchaikovsky, who is known for his Shadows of the Apt series.
In addition to being able to meet stars and personalities from the science fiction and fantasy world, the convention offers countless workshops.
From waterdancing to learning Klingon, role-playing game sessions to Anime 101, a Geekaraoke and workshops for aspiring authors, the range of activities is as broad as it is long.
Activities kick off at 10am on Saturday, March 28 and close at 1am. Sunday’s programme runs from 10am to 6pm.
LuxCon is organised by Luxembourg’s Science Fiction & Fantasy Society. It is hosted at Schungfabrik, 12, rue Pierre Schiltz, L-3786 Tétange.
