This weekend the 9th annual European Short Pitch competition came to an end. In the presence of Norbert Laporte (Film Fund Luxembourg) and Marie-Anne Theriez (Espera Prod) the awards for Best Pitch and Post-production were handed out at the closing ceremony. Attended by 50 producers from all over Europe, we honoured the cherished participants of ESP 2015.

Next year will be a special edition for European Short Pitch because we celebrate a decade of discovering and helping emerging European talents. The call for projects for ESP 2016 will open in the beginning of this summer.

And the winners are:

The Best Pitch Award by FILM FUND LUXEMBOURG

The Family Who Hid in the Cellar by Ayshea Halliwell and Miha Manea (Luxembourg); 1.000 euro cash.
Requiem for Laika by Gorana Jovanovic (Serbia); 1.000 euro cash.
The Baby Shower by Joseph Pierce (UK); 1.000 euro cash.

Postproduction awards by ESPERA PROD

Ice by Anna Hints (Estonia); 10.000 euro in kind.
Bonjour, je suis Antek by Daria Woszek (dir.), Vincent Potocki (script.) and Marta Lachacz (prod.) (Poland); 3.500 euro in kind.

We cannot address it enough that we would like to thank all of our partners, participants, tutors and staff for yet another mesmerizing European Short Pitch.
